The hard work of local volunteers from across the county has been highlighted at our annual Good Citizens Awards presented by the Council chairman, Cllr Eddie Strengiel, and vice-chairman, Cllr William Gray.

Winners were chosen from a host of nominations across the county, all selflessly benefiting their communities.

Our winners represented a wide range of good causes, from helping to support vulnerable people to raising money for charitable causes.

The 2024 Good Citizens were:

  • Individual – John Mould of Boston
  • Young Citizen – Alfie Coombes of Branston
  • Community Group – Buddies Dementia Café from Nettleham
  • Pair or Couple – Morag and Michael Watkins from Lincoln
