Leader of Lincolnshire County Council Martin Hill and local member Sue Woolley were delighted to hand over the Old Town Hall in Bourne to the trustees who have worked so hard to turn the building into an entertainment venue for the benefit of the town.

The complicated ownership responsibility meant the County Council had to be assured that the trustees would be able to maintain and continue to run the building. This was amply demonstrated at the final meeting of the LCC panel set up to oversee the transfer, when one of the lead trustees announced the successful award of over £3m from the National Lottery.
