Exciting changes have now taken shape in Horncastle as new bollards and signage have been installed, marking a significant step forward for the town’s pedestrian-friendly transformation.

The work, which took place on St Lawrence Street and Market Place, has officially created a new pedestrian-only area, improving safety for those on foot while giving local businesses more opportunities to thrive. With traffic restrictions now in place, residents and visitors can enjoy a more welcoming space for events, pavement cafés, and a safer shopping experience.

What’s Changed?

  • 🚶‍♂️ New pedestrian-only area to enhance safety and accessibility.
  • 🚖 Relocated taxi bay outside No.4/6 St Lawrence Street for convenience.
